It's a new year and Danielle and the band look forward to getting back out there and playing. They'll be at the Ella Lounge in NYC on 4/21. Look for some local shows to be posted soon, as well. Danielle's been writing songs and hopes to record a new CD some time later this year. Check back often for more details on new shows and recording news!

We announce with great disappointment and sadness that serious financial hardship has forced Danielle to cancel her showcase performance/attendance at the 2011 We R Indie and Indiegrrl International Music Conference in Knoxville, TN. She wishes to thank Vicki and everyone at We R Indie for offering the opportunity and for everything they are doing to support and celebrate independent artists. Danielle has been selected to showcase on the main stage at the 2011 We R Indie Music Conference in Knoxville, TN! Danielle and Doug Ashby will be traveling to Knoxville August 18-20 to perform and attend the conference. They are both thrilled to be a part of this wonderful event!!

The band is really excited to announce a new show coming up on Saturday, May 7th. We will be doing an "unplugged" full-band set for the series "Live @ Best Buy" at the Philadelphia area Best Buy (Oxford Valley). This show will be videotaped by Best Buy - come on out and help us "make some noise"!! (See Calendar Dates for full info.)

Danielle's CD *Post Cards from the Sea of Me* has been reviewed in the new issue (67) of The Big Takeover magazine by Jack Rabid. Big Takeover is celebrating its 30th Anniversary this year and Danielle is completely honored and grateful to have been included in this issue. Danielle will be taking a brief hiatus for the month of December. Stay tuned - lots of fun stuff on the horizon for the New Year including shows in NYC, Philly and the Lehigh Valley. Happy Holidays!!!

Danielle has two great full-band gigs coming up! We are thrilled to be a part of the 2010 Philadelphia Film and Music Festival. We will be on the South Street Outdoor Stage on Sunday, September 26th at 7:00 PM. On Saturday, October 16th we will be playing at The National Underground in NYC (yes!!) - the band goes on at 9:00 PM. Happy hot, steamy July! I have a little hot and steamy news to share with everyone (we certainly can’t let the weather take credit for all things hot and steamy in the universe, now can we?!?). My dear friend and fellow musician and photographer Bryan J. Zimmerman has launched a podcast called “The Indie Arena” to be featured on his website Life, Death, And Other Famous Recipes.

“The Indie Arena” is a bi-monthly podcast of interviews and music from independent musicians from around the globe, spanning all genres. I am very honored and excited to have been chosen the first musician to be interviewed and featured on Bryan’s podcast. It was a lot of fun to do, and I am thrilled to share it with all of you!
